iPod hates me

I've just bought an Ipod, and have been struggling to get to grips with the iTunes thing, but now have a rather fundamental problem, how the fook do you turn the damn thing off? It was switched on when I bought it, and now I fear I will have to listen to music for the rest of my life :( Its a 4th gen Nano by the way :thumb:

i imagine a hammer would turn it off, but would it turn it back on again? lol
