View Full Version : XE and F16 gear linkage fouling the steering rack?
well a mate called and told me thats whats happening in his nova, he has just recently got the car from wales and it has a XE with a F16 but the gear linkage fouls the steering rack.
ive done a search and seen a few posts saying the linkage or plastic bit needs to be turned 180 degrees, can someone please explain exactly what needs doing please?
thanks:thumb:
The white plastic bit on the gear linkage that connects to the selector turret needs... rotating 180 degrees (making it longer basically)
Its fouling now I'm guessing because the plastic bit been rotated.
its been too long since ive seen one i cant remember what they look like lollollol
is it the white insert in the UJ?

You have to file the two little tags off the top...but that should become apparent when you try flipping it round lol
