PM me your email address and I'll send you a copy of the Kent catalogue if you like...has all the data for each camshaft profile

Mark I had a Piper cam fitted with my old bike carbs which was suited to twin forty's if that helps?
This may help :) >LINK (http://www.pipercams.co.uk/pipercams/www/product_print.php?pid=A13BP270H)< This was the code A13BP300H

Both cams are fairly mild, IIRC the NVO cams are designed for injection. It will still work fine though...
Southie, a lot of people use the AST2 with twin 40s so that may be similar profile to your Piper

Rich, the piper one I had fitted was more suitable for the twin 40's so that's why I chose that particular cam.

Yeh I was just saying that your cam was probably the next step up from the two cams Mark has :)
The BP300 is a more aggressive cam than the AST2.... but give very very similar 'peak' outputs just the 300 likes it up the top and the AST2 likes it in the middle.
If I were building a carby engine I'd sling an AST2 in

I am adding twin 40s to my 1600 currently run an nvo62 to work with the injection which works well but changing to ast2 along with the carbs. I would also go ast2 with your setup but out of the 2 you have I'd throw in the nvo62.
