x14xe nova fan not kicking on?

Hey folks was wondering if someone cud help me here. I have a x14xe sport engine in my 92 nova. The car ticks over fine but the fan doesn't kick on and the temperature gauge is right on the red any ideas? I have bridged a bit of wire at the temperature sensor plug and the fan kicks on and works but wont kick on when i have it connected to the sensor? If its the sensor what do i get the new one for the sport engine or nova? Im using a new nova radiator.

its the fan switch in the rediator, get one to fit the car the rad is off

As above I'd say also your fan switch, my worry would be that you've been running the engine too hot though so don't drive the car unless you've changed it, could end up costly.

My advice for the time being is to fit a switch in the car to turn the fan on and off when it starts getting hot so you don't boil your engine.

Nova rad = nova switch, Although corsa is the same.
