I am looking at changing my Mk2 front end to a Mk1 mainly because I prefer the Mk1 front but I don't like to pov spec Mk2 bumper and I cannot afford a GSI one.

I just have a few questions, what do I actually need to do this apart from the wings, headlights & indicators, bumper and grill?

That also brings me onto my next question, as I already have mint Mk2 wings can I just remove the bits that connect to the Mk2 grill as they are only spot welded on or is there more differances between the two?

Cheers. :thumb:

GSI bumper will be cheaper and less work

MK1 wings have a larger cut out due to the size of the mk1 lights.

Just looked at my Nova and realised that. I knew the lights where bigger etc. I thought that the bit that was spot welded on went right under the light but it doesn't. lol

Plus I also have a set of revolution RFX's that I don't think suit a Mk2 and I have alot of ideas floating around in my head that just wouldn't suit a Mk2.

can't you shorten the bit under the headlight and bend it back round on itself to keep the original wings so the mk1 lights fit?? just wondering

Would like snowplough front but without the bottom bit as I know the snowplough is rare and expensive. If not then I still like the GTE look. I am looking at making the car something like MK1_Ben (http://www.pngclub.com/forum/member.php?u=78848)'s. :thumb:

I'm letting them both rust without favouring either lol
