There are many varying types of led, you can pay anything from a few pence to a few quid depending what youre looking after, google is your friend:thumb:

Is that lead or a l.e.d it was once £1000 a ton but a quick call to the actual scrap place will tell you.

Fukk me a sensible reply. As said i cant find anything on google, im useless with computers(hence asking on here). I wanted to know whether its worth going down before work or waiting till prices step up a bit.

Give them a ring,i think on a whole its dropping at the minute though,seriously best thing to do is ring round,i gained an extra £180 years ago doing that!

There's some empty old folks bungalows near mine and they were up on the roof nicking the copper flashing some time ago. Took them long enough to clock it! I've been eyeing it up for years. lol

This method is ommited from the Haynes service and repair manual, but it is in the FOMOCO workshop job. Dunno why they don't mention it, for 15 quid I want to know the easiest way to remove the tank and beam!

I feel for you mate lol computers are pap lol best thing to do is ring up your local place first thing 7.30 am and ask I no good metal is 210 per ton. A ton of **** metal and soil n glass is 140 but all up and down in different places

i know ali prices are decent at the mo, i weighed in 92 kilos this morning for 78 quid :d

i never bother with lead, not worth it

normally get about 40 to 50kgs a week, its a nice little earner on top of my wages :d

Another thing i miss about fitting,i once saved all winter had quarter of a ton back in 2008,from a few caravans (!) we double glazed and got £180 plus £80 for a bin full of lead offcuts from our conny's/flat to bow window conversions:cool: happy days!

I once got over £300 from tatting lead in 2007 ish. The joys of interim jobs working for a demolition firm lol lol
