wiring..

I have a blue/yellow wire not conected to anything. it could out from where the oil and ignition timing come out around the back of the engine neer the alt and stater motor can any one advise What this is meant to be conected to...

What engine is it?

BLGE (blue/yellow) is listed on the Haynes diagrams for a 1.6 as oil pressure.

yes its a c16se sorry should have stated that doh!

and im not sure could be blue/ green i can hardly not too good with colours but have something connected into my oil pressure sensor...

Could be the charge wire that plugs into the alternator ??

thought that was blue/white charge wire? is it marked as D- or D+ somthing like that

If you have 6 dial clocks you should have two wires gong to the oil pressure sender

Not sure on povo spec clocks if you have them

mines one with 4 little dails and the 2 big so yes. but there does it go on the oil sender? normally one clip?

Do you have the correct sender for the clocks ?

There's two wires that go to it, one has a small ring conecter the other is the plug on the sender in the pic

hmm its not like that its got a plug then like a bolt coming out of it for like a 8-10mm nut.. its what was in the engine c16se..

Did the c16se come from a nova ?

I think you might need a different sender then
