is it possible to supercharge a c20xe?

Yep, there was a green Nova at PVS last year with a supercharged 20XE.

the only was i can see a proper one fitting, would be a rotrax,

or doing away completely with the inlet and bolting the eaton directly to the head,

unless you want to go the pv one way, and have the charger sitting higher then the roof line
