After all the moaning about the price of insurance recently I have had some great quotes.

Currently I pay 570 fully comp for my car, licence held for 5 years, clean licence, no no claims, no accidents, b rated post code and 23 years old.

Just out of curiosity got some quotes on a couple of cars and was pleasantly surprised,

Renewal time is in July after which I will have held licence for 6 years and 1 years no claims and will be 24 and got the following,

Cavalier gsi 4x4 turbo, me and missus who will have 5 years driving, clean licence, 23 years old and her no claims aren't used, 894 pounds fully comp

Omega 2.5 v6 manual, 1010 pounds

Just thought I'd share this info.

I had a wander to confuddled.com last night and got some quotes on my astra, my current policy is around £700 tpft as i awapped over from my cav to the astra, it went down a touch but not much, priviledge came back with £480 fully comp, think ill be wandering from sky come renewal time (unless Ollie see's this and cat beat/match that at fully comp aswell)
