Bought an astra that came in as a trade in at work today, was told it sometimes cuts out once its warmed up (my first guess was coolant temp sensor) and apparently the previous owner said it had been into vaux and that was diagnosed as the fault.
Gave it a clean up and ive just brought it home, it drives spot on pulls well and ticks over perfectly, the temp guage seemed to not be working so i left it ticking over outside my house and as soon as it got halfway between a quarter and half on the temp guage it cut out and wouldnt restart.
Im not overly bothered as im fairly sure i know what it is but id like a second opinion on it, and also there is something in the block near the top rad hose that i assume is the cts is this correct, similar place to the one on an xe yes?
