Noticed this morning that my water pump had died :( so replaced it tonight along with a new stat and fully flushed the water system, now its decided it doesn't want to idle, check timing marks and they're all good.

For now I've turned the tick over up and can get it to idle, albeit at around 1100 revs, but still cuts out when I come to a stop. I've checked for any vacuum leaks and found none. Any ideas where to go next? I have spare known working afm and cts so will try them tomorrow anything else I should check?

Full engine spec is early pre cat e16se, delimited ecu, port polished head, l&b flywheel, high lift cam, full powerflow exhaust

How long was it ran for with the ****ed pump? Did it idle ok before you put the new one in?

A day or two maybe but only to work and back literally a few hundred meters away, (I'm very lazy) idled lumpy but put this down to cam, it also had a fresh head gasket last weekend.
