not a nova but astra 'H' head unit wiring??

just brought a wiring adaptar for my JVC head unit to match up with the astra wiring and it all fits but coming from the plug is 2 wires that are left going to no wer, im guessing i have to join thease to the loom? the 2 wires r red and orange im guessing the red is the live?? can anyone tell me if they know wer they go? the headunit doesnt work either, im guessing thats to do with the two free wires lol alot of guessing pleassseeee help thanks ben

Red is usually permanent live (yellow usually switched live, although on Vauxhalls isn't this reversed...)

Orange is usually a dimmer control. Connect to a dashboard lighting line.
