Ive got the june 2000 issue of revs, and the same car is featured in it, the owner is called paul neal dont no if he still owns it. but in the mag it says the cars lowered 75mm (front) and 85mm (rear). Its also says 0-60 8.5secs top speed 130mph, and 134bhp at the flywheel, and the car to buy was ?4,750 and its had 20k spent on it. i wouldnt say it was to low i like it. craig

there is no way it is that quick.... it's only got what looks like a standard 1.4sr engine in it.... the car is in bad condition now with on rust on arches etc and some rude chrome viper stripes

LMFAO - back in the day when a nova would cost you almost 5k to buy :o

I aint against low cars, i just think you should lower it as much as looks right for that particular car - the nova just looks a bit wrong when its that low, kinda awkward looking, i.m.h.o.

it has avos on the front so can be dropped very low....

Thats low enough for me thanks! Looks lower on the back than on the front, even though it says 70mm all round.

I love that nova, always been a big fan of it.

I dont think its too low, yeah its sits slightly lower at the rear but still looks good, most suspension kits sit higher at the rear and make the car look front heavy!

Ste, What suspension is the car running at the rear? I've always wondered how he got it to sit so low? If i take out my rear springs, i dont even sit that low with my bilstein short shocks!

That car was the first nova i'd seen with manta mirrors too, sweet.

This was mine at -80mm, the wheel used to hit the skirt and took the underside off the inner arch at roundabouts :(

Its back at -60mm :) For the moment

Too Low?????!!!! You can never go too low......ha ha.
I think its just right. Any lower and it would look out of proportion.
I have Avo Coilovers on, which allow a maximum of 70mm at the front, but this wasn't enough so I ordered some new springs which where an inch shorter! 8) After looking round at PV2003 I think my car was the lowest at the front on Speedlines but I noticed a blue Nova on Speedlines that was lower at the back. Since then i've put the height up to about an 80mm drop as it was simply UNDRIVEABLE!!! It bounced everywhere! But hey.....It looked good.

As they say at Revs.... "Praise the Lowered"

Does it still have the ripples in the front wings from where the wheels have caught the arch lips on full lock?!?! (Like it had a few years back)
LMAO!!!

got the feature in front of me in revs.
the guys spent 20k for it to be professionally modified. the bumper doesnt fit straight. the lights are set further back than the grille and the indicator lenses dont fit amongst other things.

looks sweet at the back end though. allways liked the look of it
