what engine is it? if its the e16se then yes on the dizzy side of the inlet manifold iirc

do i need a fuel damper the thing that goes after or befor the fuel pump on external pumps?

found it on ebas and it says its a Emission Control Valve ?

It works the EGR and the fuel dyaphram damper goes after the external fuel pump, it's supposed to level out the fuel delivery and prevent a wave effect in the fuel delivery, some say it's not required but the factory fitted them.

thanks bazil any one no where i can get one? also could this be the cause of my car cutting out on me then i travel fast speeds and slow down to a stop with clutch in?

You say your engine is a C16, if it is the coilpack engine then you done need the vacum thing, this is stu's C16 engine and it doesn't have it.

Nearly got it right lol, that vacume thing works the FPR it takes the vacume from a tube on the end of the inlet manifold, this setup is used on the inlet and throttle body with the vauxhall EFI badge on it, this is a pic of it's location and pipework.

Yours shouldn't have a egr either iirc but tell me this, does your speedo drive have an electrical vss on the gearbox?

No bazil it doesnt i need one? but cant seem to be finding the right places to go as every where look at me gone out (more cos there lazy to look... where can i get a vss and speedo for the c16se with f15 box fited

you will get a speed sender off a corsa b, sounds like the problem you have
