You forgot the original shiny paintwork before his mate crashed it. lol

That damn car. Most people love it because they're 'supposed' to imo.

Doesn't look to have had any wheels on in the final pic? Hmmm. Some on RR was saying they would like to see it return as a space framed true rat.;

Apparently (reading the comments on speedhunters) all the parts of value were removed before the fire. Smells abit fishy tbf.
And yea i wouldnt of probably loved it if it wasnt bloody forced rusty,
Gorgeous cars those e28's.

Aye that's the one mate.

His thread (http://www.stanceworks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16717) seems to explain what really went on. Sounds feasible to me!

Sh!t for the guy losing all his tools/wheels/garage and car in one go mind!

The bit that I find strange is that I'm sure the reasoning for not replacing/repairing the damaged A pillar was put down to safety. Concerned over a possible lack of strength afterwards. The he goes and does a nasty roof chop that looks like it was re-joined with a gasless MiG!

I hate to see anyone in this kind of position, but It will be nice to get a break from all of the uber-scene pix that get shoved down my throat everywhere! lol

Before pic above looks much better than any of its reincarnations tbh.

As for the cause, for those who can't be bothered to read the links: dodgy wiring caused fire (quelle suprise!) - so not only did it look dangerous, it WAS dangerous lol

Or, if you're a conspiracist, he stripped the car down then set fire to it lol

er, the 'dodgy' wiring, was on a jump lead he was using to run an engine out of the car on the drive, with petrol everywhere from said engine. It was death by retard rather than dangerously made lol

actually he had the engine on the floor infront of the car when he decided to run it up. you can see it in one of the pics. :thumb:

but why would someone ruin something like the before pic?????

the old 5 series was a brilliant car. ok, it wasn't as good looking as the 3 or 6 series, but it was seriously capable & was quite fast.

In all the years I've jump started cars - and having owned a few Novas, thats many a year - I've not once had a spark when connecting a battery to jump leads... something on that engine was tugging power, which it shouldn't have been if the engine wasn't running, ergo dodgy wiring.

But yeas, its also death by retard for having petrol all over the shop

Mine always spark, as per any high voltage/amperage connection:wtf:

yeah, you get a little flash of a spark, but hardly enough to fire a complete garage though.

reminds me of the good old days

had a battery on charge, desided to drop test it, with out taking the charger off lmao

a little tiny spark in a pool of petrol is plenty to set fire to a complete garage lol

maybe it was holywood petrol he's running and he dropped his rollup into it?
