f16 box wont select 1st 0r 2nd

hi all jus put a re-con f16 in my nova (xe) and it selected all gears when first tested at a stand still, but after a blast down the road i cannot get 1st or 2nd gear. what do we think? gear linkage?

Could be selector fork.

Should've also put this in mechanical lol

i would check the linkage first but if that fails then start worrying

its like the gear stick wont go over far enough although selects reverse 3rd 4th 5th brilliant! Lol!

Linkage...have you flipped the plastic UJ round?

you will need to file the small plastic lugs off it to allow it to be flipped over :thumb:

its in a my nova and the old f16 selected all gears ok all i have done is a straigh swap over of boxes so should this already be filed?

did you change the rear mount and linkage?

used the same one as before only removed and refitted it?

strange, have a look and see if the UJ has been flipped then report back :)

of course it needs readjusting. the whole thing got taken off...

gear linkage! All sorted now. Can belive the diffrence this box has made! F16cr ftw!
