Need connecting to lights? as ive heard that one of the 1.6 engine were integrated into the car loom to rear lights

If so what colour wire and could this be the cause of my engine stalling when i come to a stop?

wasnt one of these 1.6's conected to the rev light? and also not as yet how can i go at doing this?
