1.2i saloon and I can't find the fuel filter, I've followed the fuel lines and can't see it anywhere. Looked in the Haynes and it isn't where it says, so any help would be appreciated

Isn't next to the tank, there is just 2 pipes that come straight out of the tank and down towards the front of the car. I can't find the filter anywhere! Anyone have any ideas?

I've just noticed that my engine is carb'd, I have a mk2 saloon and I thought that no mk2's came with a carb'd engine? I always thought that the only 1.2 in mk2s were singlepoint
Lmfao Only K reg's came with spi's all the time, Can get like J reg spi's and carbs.
It wont have a fuel filter then lol
