Only covered 500 miles since rebuild including the following…..

Accralite pistons,
ARP rod bolts,
Full bottom end freshen up
Comeic 1.9m head gasket,
SBD Vernier pullys,
Xe cam dialled in,
Fresh cambelt and tensioner kit,
Crackle finish rocker cover.
Coscast head,
lightweight bottom pulley
Mocal oil cooler sandwich plate,
carbon blanking plate on Dizzy (for dispac systems)
Cosworth Fuel reg,

When you say full bottom end freshen up....

What do you exactly mean ???

Engine was a total rebuild, oversized low comp accralite pistons, block overbored and honed to suit, brand new GM big and small ends and arp rod bolts, new GM oil pump, new water pump, new valve springs, new valve guides and valve stem oil seals, new hydraulic tappets. Running both inlet and exhaust XE cams and 1.9mm cometic all steel gasket on skimmed coscast head with smoothed exhaust ports, over size inlet top hat.
First oil change was @ 20miles then had another 5 oil and filter changes upto 500miles.
I actually done about 1000 miles on the engine and it was spot on, live road Mapped by Mark Shead @ MAD to 1.6bar no sign of any det on the det cans whilst mapping, could have gone for more boost but fuel pump was the limiting factor using the bosch dark green 803 injectors
