H Why cant i sell these

Ive got twin forties for sale, and i cant seem to shift them its got a fuel pump fule regulator, and linkage i want 250 for it im I asking too much?? also people keep pissing me off the email me i send the pics then they dont reply it really bugs me!!!!! :evil:

yeah but i cant hel that, ive got a brandnew mainfold for a ford cvh but i dont hink nobaody wants that do they is that about the right price?

ppl will have to add up to ?160 for manifold plus other bits and bobs to get the set to stick em on, dont i know it trying to source the last few little things is an arse!!

btw: i payed ?190 for T40s, sport manifold etc etc

also you had no real info about which pump it was and the pics of the fortys werent detailed enough. it was a very bad pic! im looking for some but yours werent what i was looking for from the pics. i know nothing about twin fortys but im looking for some that have been on a 1600 for starters.

im sure they will sell, you just gotta persist!

And if all i had to do was pay to fit them on nutting esle but by the sounds of it theres other bits needed!

yes lots of things:

1. T40s

2. Inlet manifold to suit head

3. upper and lower alternator brackets to suit

4. larger alternator belt

5. Gaskets, washers etc

6. correct jets set up

7. Correct choke size etc

8. Possible fuel pressure regulator allthough not essential

9. Filters allthough not essential

10. RR to tune for optimum performance etc

aint fittin twin 40's fun!!! personally i think its a pain in the arse job but i nearly finished doing my conversion at last, just need to design a throttle cable linkage so that i can use the standard vauxhall cable - more fun! (i think not)

wtf thats inculded as is the adjustable regulator, i put them on my escort not a nova and they worked fine the i sold the car and took them off hence why i havent got the mainfold and all the other bit as i didnt need them for my escort I have a mainfold but its for the cvh , there was a mainfold when I bought them but i gave to my mate, it got a linkage which can be used witht he standard throttle cable so how much should I sell them for???

they will need rejetted completely and prolly best giving em an overhaul too

manifold aint there so thats another bad point

a good set with everything would sell for 200-250 maybe 300 at a push

as they are i'd say ?100-150
