i just blew up the XE in the chevette.

it has lost compression in Cyl 4 i think.

will do a test tomorrow,
wasnt giving it the beans, just a tappy noise then loss of power.

cambelt is fine.

i have a spare engine, but its freshly rebuild and untested.

so it shouldnt cost me much to repair if anything. but its just a hassle.

If its running on 3 (Lost comp on four), and the oil light didn't come on, It will be as I said or similar, Not oil starvation.

no oil light, first light i saw was battery light (as it died)

alex, no spark out yet, wouldnt be able to see fook if i did lol,
and i thought it might have dropped a valve from the noise. bit gay lol

anyway, the strip down will begin tonight.

that wouldnt be to bad, but it was trying to fire on the other three. so something inside was moving lol.

plugs out & torch down the holes, then drain the oil......with a sieve to catch the bits..
