Looking to see if there's enough interest in the major parts of my GTE to make it worth getting it taken apart. (polite) guidance on prices is welcome!

The engine is a mildly tuned 1600 8v on weber twin 40s - according to the previous owner it was built by Neil Roper just before I bought it, so has done minimal mileage - i'll try and find a fuller spec list. Recent new plugs, oil change and carb set-up by "The Steve's" at Track and Road, Rainham - making 130bhp on their rollers. £350? Or is it better to sell the carbs on their own?

6 point bolt-in OMP cage - £250

Suspension is full set of GAZ Gold (nearly £1000 new, and has maybe 100 miles on it), spring rates as per Dave at Gaz (2 x sets, for both trackday tyres and slicks - I have them written down somewhere, plus they're on the springs themselves) with adjustable front top mounts. Surprisingly pleasant on the road, too. £700 too much to ask? I can't find them for anything less than £950, with only one set of springs, and no top mounts, but i'll happily be proven wrong!

Any questions or comments, give us a yell.
Tim

:thumb: A couple of people have pointed that out direct. Will accept £600 including adjustable eccentric top mounts and both sets of springs.

If someone wanted the car as it is (with cage and engine still in it) but less the suspension (swapped for some fast road stuff, probably spax), seats, harnesses, and wheels, I'd take £600. Basically, the cost of the engine and the cage, plus a load of other free bits chucked in. You'd have to bring a trailer and some steelies.
