Am i right to thinking that after hard acceleration, once you let off and it backifires (not loud more of a little pop and apparently a small flame is seen). Seeing as the engine is standard and the exhaust is completely standard bar the middle silencer removed (so straight through)
So is this caused down to overfueling?
Any ideas?
Engine is e16se

Any leaks in the exhaust?

Straight through coupled with a slight air leak higher up the exhaust easily ignites fumes in the exhaust causing that, sometimes you don't even need to have an air leak with a straight through and it will crackle/pop.

Yea it has a minimal blow from the downpipe-centre section so im guessing it's that, just presumed it was overfueling.
Mowgli checked the CO not long ago but will check it Monday
