whack that on epc

it is *THE* manual petrol fuel pump across the OHC range of small block engines.

search for it under nova and cavalier and you will find it ranges from 1.2 to 1.6 engine

how does it deliever enough fuel across the difrent variants?

and before you say camshaft, how when you can use difrent engine camshafts from difrent motors, for instance running a kent ast2 cam which came out of a 1.3 and now its in a 1.6 ....................?

Ste's correct, it supplies around 6 or 7 psi in pulses which is in excess. Twin 40's only need about 3psi.

ahhh right i c now.

so does the fuel return feed back any petrol that isnt used? or is under too much pressure i guess?

ive asked many a time in directly if i need a pressure reg and never had a definite yes.......

should i?

I ran my 1400 on twin 40's without one and had no problems. I did fit a simple one on the 1600, but not sure it helped much. On the Twin 40's, fit the regulator, set to about 3.5 and do away with the fuel return.
