Right i didi regret selling my white nova gte and although i replaced it with a turbo impreza i wanted another nova still to take to pv, so seeing as my impreza is my weekend car i went and bought this vauxhall nova sr that used to belong to someone on here. i am hoping to tidy it up a little in time for pv so i can bring it along as i missed the nova scene. I know my old gte is being given some major treatment to make it even more mint then it was i do miss it but im hoping i can get this sr upto a decent standard. Any info on this car would be helpful too thanks,

i only did that so nobody could clone the plate it was that or blank it out, no novas were made an 'm' plate im not that silly.
Will be bringing this to pvs hopefully, needs a little tlc but its solid

I think you should paint it lairy lime green like your original nova Leon!! lol
Other than that, perhaps anthracite coloured wheels?? It doesnt need much doing to it since its a rare sight to see an unmolested SR these days.

mate, tell me about it. I wanted a scooby for ages and the only way i could get one was to cash the gte. Scooby is lush thought, the flat 4 noise is sexual. I do miss my gte though and sounded nice even on tickover with the full kent race cam. Was special

I must admit, I loved Scoobies at one stage, but my cousin deals a lot with them, usually stocks at least 5 at a time. There isn't many variants I havnt experienced now, so I suppose for me the novelty has worn of a little.

And another point being, for an unknown reason, I can't get away from Nova's, even 3 years since having my last one.

same as that, i did go all jap and had a civic as a runaround, but i wanted another nova after selling my gte. There just fun to chuck about and easy to work on. I dont drive the scooby all week and is nice to take out at the weekends. May sell the SR come winter time, will see. But i cant stay away from the novas

Ditto. I went Jap. Also had 2 "classic" Fords, euro, off road. Now I wanna go back to a Nova.

I'll keep an eye out for your SR when it's up for sale. It's right up my street.

I'm not a great fan of civics, recently went away with loads of members of hondacivicforum. All that vtec talk! But each to their own. I've seen plenty of eg's I'd own.

HA ha same here had 5 nova's few over motors then been on the scoobys love my scooby loads, but still miss my nova, had my first one over 10 years ago and am still hooked, always wanted a gsi, never got one, thats the dream
