doing a bit of research on these engines i have the chance of one for £50 from a running vectra sri 140 and it will be going into my nova 1.2 spin, ive fitted c20xe's before is it basically the same or any other complications etc?

the sri140 engine is the better version of the x20xe but the loom is a ****e to work with. find a mk3 astra 2.0 eco loom and ecu, and use that. far simpler. dont forget the key and transponder. the rest fits like an xe. use a mk3 cav f16cr and it makes the motor pull really well.do the belt and tensioners whilst its out, and your laughing.:thumb:

oh yeah, you need the alt and brackets and bottom pulley off a 1992-1995 frontera c20ne. just grind the outer lip off the bottom pulley, and flip the top alt bracket so the slot bolts to the head.
