how to remove headlight glass?

i need to remove the glass from my headlights to smoke inside, but tried on a spare and cracked it, any one no how to do it without breaking it?

ive tried in the oven and a heat gun with no luck.

its a corsa b light but assume its the same as any other light to take the lens off

iv only ever heard about heating them to remove it, they get brittle so if you try prizing them apart they will crack or snap have you tried heating a flat head screw driver and just go along the glued bit

not yet tried that.. ive only got 1 set left so this is the final go lol.. *goes off to get heat gun and screwdriver lol*

get a stanley blade or cheese wire and heat it up and then cut round the edge
cheese wire would be better as you can do it all in one go

My glass fell off when I took my light out other day Spose that don't really help you mind but thought I'd share it anyway lol

soak light a bucket/bowl of hot water & keeping it hot then prise glass off when glue is soft,

Ive never done this myself but im sure a local lad to us has,

Oven to get the glue soft then run a knife round the seam.

oven ftw. low heat untill the glue is soft, then prise the glass off
