wiring loom

can anyone help i am doin a c14se conversion from a c14nz engine is ready to go back in but i have been told wiring is a problem anyone know what to do or how much hassel it is?

Just get a new loom. C14SE engines have intergrated looms (car and engine all in one). When i did my C20XE conversion on my SRi, i just raided a breakers and got a new loom.

there are 5 wires.

just wire it in :S you have thick blue/red (fuel pump) thick red (constant live) thin black (ign live) green (rev counter) and blue iirc (temp)

and them 5 wires are the only ones i have to piss around with if thats the case i will crack on with it proper lol

there are 5 wires.

The C14/16SE had the ECU in the car afaik.

With the ECU in the car it's going to be an integrated loom though, spi style?

PITA. I ripped mine out, got a boggo loom and job jobbed. SO much easier. And yes, the ECU is located in the car behind the dash on the passenger side.

so does anyone know these 5 wires i got to connect from the new loom where abouts do they go or conect to on the old loom?

ive allready put out where they got and what colour they are lol just conect them to what i wrote down and the car should run providing everything else is good lol
