Plug had a good quote on his LET with a few duff convictions. I'm sure he made a thread about it in this forum somewhere...

Tbf insurance works on a degree of trust and with 2 in10s they ain't gonna trust what your saying so won't want the business hence the price

Looks like am sticking with transit i'l have to see if I can get a caddy sportline preferably. I can insure vans no prob my dad just put them on his fleet policy. Sell up buy another saloon in a couple of year wen I lose my convictions. I must say I have learnt a lesson!! Built my saloon n can't use it!

Classic policy. The insurance companies i spoke too (alot) couldn't understand why I wanted 1 at 21 so they refused

I cant belive that some people pay over a thousand a year let alone five thousand. My first insurance a year was 600 around, then went down to 500 and summin then went up so i looked around and got one for a round 400-500, a year. this was before i was 21 and have 3 years no claims. Why is it so much? i know my car isnt as beefy as many others but still!

And ive never understood really why insurers hammer people for IN10,i mean your ringing up for insurance on your car so therefore arent really a risk LOL

mowgli

they do it cos they can.....

blue_peg_16v

They do it because if your willing to break the law by driving with no insurance they feel that there is a higher risk of you not telling the truth eg fraudulent claims etc in10 are classed as a more serious offence too hence 6 points usual minimum and not 3 like speeding
