I have sourced most of the parts for this, http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166788 added to which I have now found out it has cracked cylinder head. To get the final pieces the company has asked me for the engine code. I thought that they were talking about the engine serial number, but they said that was the number for my car's engine and not the engine code, which was the type of engine I have got.

Hi Mowgli, thanks for trying to help once again.
The number I gave them was 19873815. This is the engine number from my V5. As I said above they said that they wanted the engine code number and not the engine number, which is slightly confusing to say the least:confused:
Cheers mate

its on the top of the engine block, on the edge near the radiator side of the engine, you might need to clean it up & wire wool it to get the no. but if it is a carb engine, it will be a 12st, and you can get the bits cheap enough secondhand. just stick an ad in the parts wanted section.
