Rose Jointed Track Rod Ends

I've just fitted a set of these on my hillclimb/sprint Nova.

If anyone else has got them, can you tell me whether you've fitted yours on top of the steering knuckle, or underneath it? (I know it will depend on how low you are running the car).

Also what have you used (if any) by way of spacers? There were 4 spacers supplied with my set of rose-joints, which seems excessive.

never seen anyone with them underneath the knuckle yet colin, i think rick draper tried it but it was awful, i know its hassle but can you not drop the spring out and see how much bumpsteer you have and set it up accordingly?
