In a bid to save a few pennies i am thinking of cancelling my Sky. If i do so and keep the box plugged in, i assume i will still receive the freeview channels?
So, will the sky+ still work?

Nope sky+ won't work.
sky+ should work tbh as its 2 tuners and a harddrive
There are still 2 feeds coming from the LMB
maybe wrong thou, take the viewing card out and see if it works if so yes it will

Sky+ 100% doesn't work when you cancel your subscription. You cannot even watch the stuff already in your planner.
I don't think you'll pick any channels up either. (lie when you remove the card)
The box will be dead.
No I won't been there and done it :(
Just go for the cheapest package ?
Sky is a piss take now full package is near £80
Might be worth getting a freesat box instead..
