heated seats question

has anyone got a diagrame or could explain how to wire calibra leathers in without using the heated seat button using flick switches instead

Power from the cigarette lighter circuit to both switches wires from switches to seats and for the earth ,on the calibra the earth went on it's own from the seats to the earth on the battery.

make sure you fuse them correctly though

Would put heated seats on there own fuse in the fusebox if i was doing it

could i run them like this

wire from + on batter to a flick switch then front the switch to seat
then run another for the - of the battery

whick wire would i put the fuse on?

the fuse would be on the + wire,

the earth can go to the shell not needed to re route to the battery

If you run them off the cig ligther wiring you wont need to run them to a fuse as its already fused through the fusebox. That how ive done mine. Plus the seats run a cut-off of there own so they cut-off when warm anyway.

could you get me a picture of where yours are wired up mate just so i know where to wire them up too

Carnt get any pics mate as mine are taped up into the loom now just run the seat switches to the live and earth on the cig lighter which iirc are red/brown/grey-green.
Red - live
Brown - earth
Grey/green - lights.
just wire them in as if you were wiring an ordinary switch in.

i wont be running the heated seat switches just flick switches

my car is a corsa b tho so will they still have the same wiring in the cig liter?
