The car still has original tar/hard stuff glued to the floor, then the sound-deadening on top, then carpet. None of it is heavey, or traps moisture and does a decent job of keeping the outside noises and climate out and some refinement; ide suggest you keep them too; its a bit horrible without..

Before the strut brace was painted.

You'll get bored of it pretty quick, I ended up putting my interior back in (interior fits with a welded strut brace fortunately).

so you mean they faced the wonky steering wheel straight on then ?lol
so you mean they faced the wonky steering wheel straight on then ?lol
Yea got to admit it felt like i was driving a car that didn't have a steering rack on the piss for once lol
And as for road noise, i didn't find it annoying, i just kept getting paranoid, kept thinking one of my doors wasn't shut properly, or my boot was open.
Was great fun driving it though, even if it was on boat-like suspension
The rack is quite straight compared to the angle of the column Connor.
Meh you know what i meant :p
and i only did like 2 miles in them and took em out
