URGENT HELP NEEDED

ive just got some lockwood dials and i just fitted them when i put all the needles on there all out how do u put the needles on so they read the same.
they all sit ok but when u strat it they all go wrong !

if you removed the needles from the pins, you actually have to mark where they sit on the dash before removing them (after youve removed the zero pins) - the needles have a natural resting place - some of these (fuel, temp etc depending on dials) have a little white mark on the very edge allowing you to see.

The speedo and revs though dont.

If you aint marked em yer fcuked...

You'll need to do many tests - e.g temp let the car warm up and see where the needle is and compare to where it used to be (from memory) - fuels a bitch coz if its wrong you'll run out before you know it and speedo - simply get someone to pace you - then when they get to 30 check the dial and stop - then adjust the needle.

Or you could go on ebay and buy an new set for ?5 (sr ones on there now!) and do it all again - marking the positions 1st though!
