Mananaged to find the cure Edd, aparently its a common issue :( there is no gasket between the block/pump just an internal seal which fails.

Which is a complete bast (http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?282985-Y17DTL-oil-pump) to change by all accounts :(

You will need the the following items to stem the leak

Oil Pump O Ring, 97255965 £2.60
Oil Pump Sprocket nut, 94012045 £0.59 ( This must be replaced otherwise it will come undo and kill you engine.)
Oil Pump Flange Sealant, 93165267 £8.33. Use anything else IT WILL LEAK AGAIN)
Timing Belt kit 93188137 (choice of two depending on engine No) £91.86. Do Not reuse the old belt

The reason EPC will not work for you is because it will not work on anything above IE6
You can download IE6 from the net and epc will be happy, i've IE6 and 8 running on the laptop without a problem.

Cheers
