View Full Version : welding nozzle tips
if im using .8mm wire what size tip do i buy?
.8mm or 1mm?
thanks very muchly wasnt too sure if i needed a size up for allowing a small gap or not
why you using 0.8 may i ask? 0.6 is enough for panels
because the welder came with .8mm wire and ive just always bought that
would .6mm be better?
Just be careful with your heat and you should be fine bud,is it gasless?
I always use 0.6,it did my hockley plates fine also
yeah its gasless ive patched a few holes and put 2 sills on with it so cant be bad lol
Gasless is sooo bad,if theres pidgeons in hell, thats their excrement
haha yeah ive been told about the gas/gasless differences
when i stop spending cash on the nova ill get myself a gas 1 but i only paid £40 for this one from someone on here im sure and its done me fine
plus if i can weld with a gasless one when i get a gas one it should makes things alot easier lol
I just had a look for .6mm and couldn't find any that'll be why
