im stripping my nova to rebuild the whole car, the 1.2 will not be going back in, i noticed that the engine wiring loom is merged with the car loom, when i did my corsa c20xe conversion it was just a case of swapping the loom which was seperate. i am putting a 20seh engine in so do not need the 1.2 engine loom, what do i do with it????

you should keep all of the sender wires, and the starter & alternator wires too... the radiator fan wires need keeping, so you chuck very few wires.

if it is a carb. the coil feed wire gets reused as ecu ign on feed

if it is an spi, the efi specific wires can probably get binned,

but you would be better off labelling everything & poking it thru the bulkhead just in case

its an spi mate, so if i just cut out what isnt needed and leave wiring for starter etc and just leave the 1.2 ecu under the dash? going to be a track slag so not too fussed on perfection etc.

wait till it is running then prune it. a wiring loom weights ounces, and the ecu maybe a pound... it is just a lot harder to put wires back in after you have chopped them.
