I'm after some opinions from 1.2 and 1.4 Nova owners. I wanna know how many of you would be interested in some good value modifications that really make a difference. I get loads of PM's asking me to do work, but I'm not normally interested as its too much time and hassle doing one off jobs. I've run the idea past CP, and what I plan to offer is a series of stages of tune as set packages for 1.2's and 1.4's.

For the 1.2, possibly 4 stages giving anything from 10bhp to 40bhp increases.

For the 1.4, similar to the 1.2, increasing power between 10 and 40bhp.

I'll also take on engine conversions.

I'd like some feed back on levels of interest and how mu ch you'd be willing to pay.

Cheers,

MC

For those of you who don't know who MC is, he is responsible for building some of the quickest small block cars on the site. He has owned a rapid 1.4 and also built a 1.6 which was one of the quickest 1.6 8v's around.

If you are after someone who will provide excellent quality and a proffesional service, MC is your man. His knowledge of Novas is second to none.

Jim

P.S. No he didn't pay me to say this...although I'm now thinking that he should have :P ;)

I've so far only worked out packages for the 1.2 and 1.4 as these can be tuned for far less cash, therefore making it affordable for everyone, I can work on most of the vauxhall engines, and know how to get the power, so if you have an idea of what you want, PM me.

I can work on the 1300 no problem. Tell me what you want from it, and your budget, and I'll work out what is needed.

Are you up for giving some free technical advice for us that are trying to mod our 1.2's ourselves and cant afford the money to get it done properly?

Like i need jetting advice for running a 1.3 1b1 cab on a 1.2 with 1.3 exhaust.

For those interested in 1.2 head tuning me and Cambridge are in the middle of testing some mods. which maybe of interest to some. Although its a better head than the 1.4 in std trim it can be easily improved.

We have a large valved head to play with

Yep, I can work on the 1600, but on a case by case basis. I have plenty of experience of the 1.6. PM me.

Hotdogs, Pm, I wouldn't spend money on your 1400 if you are gonna do a 16v in 5 months. Can do a 1.6 16v too, lots of potential there. Oh, and you wont want an induction kit if you plan to fit carbs or TB's.
