Guys been offered a 3inh bore stainless exhaust off my mates turbo nova F.O.C. If i get a flange welded onto the front to mount to the 4-branch on the XE would it be overkill/cause any problems with running. Im mainly thinking backpressure wise if theres not enough but theres 2 massive boxes on it so hoping its not a problem.

Does it have a downpipe too?

You can run a 3" system on a c20xe according to sbd but you will need a lot of engine work for it to give you a advantage otherwise it may cause you problems. I'm running A 3" system on mine but my engine build cost is over 10k

3" is way to big for a normal XE, not enough back pressure to force the gases out iirc

As said 3" is waaay big but it'll run I'm sure.

3 inch on an xe is only needed for 285+bhp on certain applications, anything below and youre going to have a crap driving engine!;)
