I'm at my witts ends folks.

I've just changed the head gasket and now I cant find the bottom pulley timing marks.

Its the wide belt one with the crank sensor on the bottom pulley. Does this pulley need to come off to find the marks? I thought it would have had the mark on it somewhere?

theres a mark on the pulley that lines up with a plastic spike at about 2 o'clock, but it often gets snapped off. there are proper marks on the actual timing belt bottom pulley, at 6 o'clock

I tired looking but my view is ristricted by all the Corsaness. I've also got a spare engine on the Garage floor and cant see it on there as well. Is it on the face or at the back etc?

Where did you find that, is it definately a 1.2 engine?

EDIT: Should there be a mark on the pulley then so?

Should be a big arrow on the cog, Points to a little notch on the sump iirc, Basically straight down.

Sorted. Theres a Mark on the timing belt cover around 1 o'clock from the "CS" pulley and a matching Mark (read Glorified scrap that you'll need a telescope to see) on the bottom drive belt pulley/"CS" pulley that line up when the cam is at 12 o'clock.
