Bad times not to worry I'll let the local Moter factors pull my pants down in the morning
So not much use then really!!
Probably not the best moment to say, but its got a pretty good stance from that angle
Not really, just wanted to boost my post count :p
It just went kaput? Mine buzzed like hell before it died

He said he knew it was on the way out. Read the thread :p
Yeah, so why not change it before it dumps you on the side of the motorway?
I dunno, but stop obliterating my rep already lol

the fuel pump was placed in the engine bay, the heat killed it

ah.. it sucking the fuel through when its supposed to be blowing through..?
You can get that exact pump off ebay for 2.0 16v & 8v's for about £30.
Yeah, they're pretty cheap. Mine was listed as being for an Omega (3.0V6) :thumb:
sorry to change subject,
but was this car parked up in portchester (port solent) few weeks back? looks familiar to one that i see..
if so nice motor..:thumb:
Standard Nova Gsi pump looks the same as well. Seen as car was originally a GSi and should still have a GSi tank on why not mount the pump back on the chassis leg at the back where it should be?
I run a similar looking pump on the 2.3 turbo engine in my Volvo. It was about £45 on eBay and was listed for allsorts. Supposed to flow like a Bosch 044 thing too. :)

ive found one from a friend as desprate for a pump to go back to work opps ill wack it back under the bonnet till the weekend when ive got the time to re run every thing under like power etc under the car but yes it will be going back under
as soon as you can, please get it put under the back. they can run dry up in the bay & then knacker up, whereas under the back, they will permanently be fed with fuel once they are turned on, as it creates a primed syphon.
