C20XE idle issues

Not even tried to solve it just thought I'd ask before I delv in, on chokenit idles up and down between 1k and 1500 rpm, once warm between 500 and 1k, any one got any ideas to save me time checking everything in the morning?

Idle control valve. Try cleaning it with some carb cleaner and WD40 and thne see if it improves.

It's had a brand new idle control valve lol

hmmm might be cold start switch. take its an xe?

Unplug the CTS or replace it if you got a spare and see if that makes a difference

i would try the cts then do you know where it is?

Yeh lol had plenty of xe's just not had this issue yet. Would make sense as it's had cts issues before which put it in limp mode but were not getting an ecu light on this time
