been looking at them and i could get, year of car, engine size, and my initials.

Yr of car | Engine size | Initials_ |_________| Price

___ J __ | ___ 1.4 ___| _ NJD _ |_ J14 NJD_ | ?249
___ J __ | ___ 1.6 ___| _ NJD _ |_ J16 NJD_ | ?249
___ J __ | ___ 2.0 ___| _ NJD _ |_ J20 NJD_ | ?249

Then it's ?43.58p for handling
and ?80 for transfer onto your vechile.
Making total ?372.58p

IMPORTANT INFO...
Can the Registration Mark be assigned to your vehicle?
You cannot make a vehicle appear younger than it is by changing the registration mark.
For example: You cannot put an "R" prefix registration on a "P" prefix vehicle as it would make the vehicle appear younger. You can however put any prefix registration from "A" - "P" on a "P" prefix vehicle.

website was http://www.regtransfers.co.uk

So i might start saving, better then i thought it'd be. and a decent number plate.

thats not bad, considering the private plate i want is already in exsistance and would cost about ?50k to buy! lol

Personally I wouldn't, there are a lot better ones out there...

I found that dvla-som.co.uk was a better place to look.

I ended up paying over the odds for my plate but it was worth it.

still waiting my commision cheque breeny....

Right

regtransfers are a rip off.

www.dvla-som.co.uk

TAKE HEED
Buy from there and there only- if it is a new previously unreleased reg.
the ?250 from the dvla is all inclusive.

All regtransfers.co.uk do is buy from the dvla(all inclusive) then smack on a non existant transfer fee to make their cut.
Total and utter rip off.

So you are paying ?372.58p for something that costs no more than ?250 if you go to the sellers direct......

THe one i want costs a grand from the DVLA.

Its also the same price from regtransfers - plus their extra charges... so you're right lads, they do rip you off.

My Nova used to be J611 SRF, I only ever cleaned the SR part of the plate.

Best I've seen on a budget is LAZ1 367, Lazy is your not quite with it. Irish plates come for under ?100 so....

I saw a strage one on a truck yesterday...

It won't come up with any H plates on the DVLA site, how's that??

I wouldnt mind getting:

H3ARN - My dad priced it a few years back and it was over 2k.... but H9ARN was only ?600.... Now I cant find it! I would get a loan just to get it.

I did find one however that would suit me, C12 RFC to show I support the best team in the, ahem, world.... the mighty Glasgow Rangers :D (world record holders - 50 titles) And it is only ?399
