Wheel pin stripes

So per title, i want to know whos done pin stripes on there wheel rims, and if its just painted, or a vynal kit thats availabe on say ebay etc...

I've got them on my bike, its a tape that you put on with a little applicator that you just run round the rim and it puts it on perfectly straight.

i think your better off getting the tape if you want to do it, if you paint a strip you gotta mask it all up paint it wait then if it looks gash you gotta rub it back and paint it again tape you can just pull off

You can get complete lengths of tape aswell Scott.

This would be the easiest way.

check my for sale thread, was painted on, did have a bit of an issue with the dark grey not sticking to primer though and the tape pulled it off somehow :confused: Other than that fine line tape did pretty well

easy method to pinstripe jack car up put on stands engine on in first gear have a steady hand with a paint brush then once front wheels done remove and take rear ones off put front on rear to dry and rear on front to paint easy

ah didnt realise they were in quarter sections, mine was a continuous tape. motrax do thjem for bikes, which gave me enough to do both sides of my 17 inch wheels, plus one side twice as i cocked it up. so plenty for a car
