battery change now car not starting

right as per title i have just changed the battery on the nova as its knackered but had just about been starting, now put the new battery in and its turning over then firing up but then cuts out straight away, sounds like no fuel is getting to the engine, its a c20xe if that helps, is there something that i might have done whilst changing the battery?

probably a small earth missing when you have reconnected the battery.,

well gotit starting now but runs terrible and when ever i put the throttle down it will slowly cut out and die am i right in thinking its a earth problem, replacing the main earth from the battery to the body tomo and hopefully that will solve it

more than likely just the small earth to the fuel rail or similar.
