Lemon juice.... surprisingly, newspaper also works well at degreasing windscreens lol

I'm assuming you're cleaning the blades thoroughly as well each time lol

Sounds like your blades are foobarred, fit a a new set and use soapy water and newspaper or vinegar, you probably wont get anything that will clean aswell as those will, then see how you get on:thumb:

yeh I know lol lift the wipers up, clean screen with white spirit to remove the grease then clean with soapy water to remove any residue etc, fit new blades and away you go

White spirit could damage the coating on the windscreen

I know someone who cleaned his sunroof seal with petrol, when he was done it had softened and stretched and didn't fit lol

I thought the coating was inbetween the two sections of glass though Jack and not external?

Dunno Crudly, I thought it was on the outside as a heated windscreen eventually burns it off and is more succeptible to stone chips.

There will be numerous coatings on the inside and outside of the screen to make it scratch resistant etc. The laminate section that holds it together when it smashes is indeed in the middle though.
