At the gearbox where are you suppose to put the drill bit?

I've been told there should be a plastic bit you remove above the selector but on my gearbox there isn't one, only a small threaded hole.

The hole doesn't go all the way inside the box.

Its a F18 btw.

There should be a hole with a bung in it.

Assuming an F18 has one in the same place as an F20, Alex's pic looks right.

Yeah, Seems to be later gearboxes that are like that?

It won't go in very far unless the selector is moved over into the neutral position between 1st and 2nd, then it should slide in quite a way as that is where the hole is
