Building a wee nova sprint car.
Have a good shell caged, seam welded etc.
The car was originally a 1.0. I have a 1.4 single point injection engine out of a corsa ready to drop in. I need to fit a distributer, associated coil etc and inlet manifold and carb.
What problems am i likely to encounter in doing this. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Gary

well, getting a carb/manifold & dizzy set to run off the spi engine for a start, then when you come to wiring it in, you may have some fun with the resistive coil wire, unless you continue to use the 1.0 coil.
why not run it as an spi?

i converted mine from a 1.0 to c14se and never changed any wire and its ran fine since?>

Will prob take the bull by the horns and build a decent wee engine.
Have a head that has had some work done on the inlets, will look at exhaust work / bigger valves, decent cam, set of 40`s etc
How do the wee 1.4`s respond to bottom end work, ie lightening and balancing etc.
i'd say they don't need much apart from new rings & shells for what you are planning.
well, thats more by luck than skill
i couldnt even find the wire to change lol
