Can't say I pay that much attention to facefook and I was without the internet for a while, so I was not aware that the cav was being murdered.

However... Yay, cav death :d

Call to the motor factors should sort you out a size? 10mm wide I believe.

What length though it could be anything and iirc xe engines never ran in a car with anything less than PAS at least, so listed lengths wont be anything like what im after, what length did you use Lemon?

8V pulley, 8v block (as it's the same as the 16v, 86mm stroke and bore 1:1 'square' ratio and cosworth designed for anyone interested) = 8V belt length, size, style and colour. Simples :d

Thankyou a measurement, thats what i wanted, its hard enough ringing a factors with a reg number, nevermind ringing them and asking for an 8v belt!

Theyre fecking useless round here tbf, even with reg numbers they get stuff wrong, ask Porter about when i ordered a pair of front wheelbearings for my cav, went to get them fitted and one was totally wrong and wouldnt fit, had to get his poor mate to drive to peterborough to get me another one (hour and a half round trip) first one luckily was bang on, wouldnt have bothered with either of them had we tried that one first!

My local factors I can wave a part at with no part numbers etc on and tell them it's off a different car to the one I just parked up and I don't have a reg, and they'll have a good crack at it at worst :d Then I get trade prices off of 3/4 of the staff there as they know me (side bonus of owning a nova that is)

Past few weeks I've been trying to track down my glow plug and charge relay (corsa engine in the nova before I bought it apparently!) without any kind of wiring diags etc and just keep waving random relays at them to find out what they are lol

Some times, cause cars can have muti bits you have to sell choices.
Things like a car has either 288 or 265 discs.. Customer wont know so you sell them both and they bring a set back.. Same goes on anything like that..
French cars are worse for that.. Some have a choice of 3 discs sizes.

No they sent me a 'matching' pair, i ordered two bearings and until we went to fit the second one we didnt realise one was wrong until it wouldnt fit in my hub:cry:

Down to the suppliers on that though, my factors are spot on as said but expecting to wait about 3.5 months for a warranty claim on a wheel bearing as the suppliers are shockingly slow!
